In specific scenarios, when a new customer initiates a booking through the front-end booking interface, the system allows the booking submission even when the Stripe credit card payment details are not successfully stored. To address this discrepancy, the system must be updated to enforce validation that ensures the credit card details are successfully captured and saved before permitting the booking request to proceed. The calculator fails to detect the updated address and does not recalculate the mileage, resulting in an incorrect total amount.
